Making Tomorrow is a place-based creative heritage programme with young people inspired by Bramber Castle, nestled in the heart of the South Downs National Park.

 

The programme focuses on the ruins of this Norman castle as a place of defence - positioned strategically at the top of a hill overlooking the river Adur, with views to the coast. 

 

Artist Annis Joslin will work with a group of young people aged 16 - 24 to explore the castle’s history and its connection to the coast, inviting participants to identify and creatively explore their own unique and meaningful connections between heritage past, present and future, and the local environment. 

 

Making Tomorrow is supported by English Heritage, and we are looking forward to learning more about the castle’s history with their historical expertise.
