Sara Hibbert
Corridor are delighted to announce the selection of Sara Hibbert through open call for our artist in residence commission at Dyson Gymnastics Club, a family-run club that serves so many young people in the heart of the Clarendon area of Hove, East Sussex.
Sara has been immersing herself with the community of members and staff since April and we’re super excited about the work she’s making as well as the process she’s taken throughout.
Sara is an artist working in photography and moving-image, currently based in Brighton. Her work has come to explore the role of image-making within health and wellbeing contexts, through both lived experience and collaborative processes. Visually her work explores mindful connections between objects and space, focussing on luminosity, colour, light and atmosphere.
Sara graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2015, and was part of London Creative Network at Four Corners in 2018-20.
She has exhibited at Brighton Photo Fringe, Pump House Gallery, Poplar Union, and RCA Dyson Gallery (Altai Collective).
